Van Life, On the Road

I didn’t choose van life to escape anything.

I chose it to slow things down.

When you live in a vehicle, space becomes honest. You know exactly how much you need, and how much you don’t. Every object has a reason to stay, or it leaves.

Driving is no longer about distance, but rhythm. You stop when light feels right, sleep when your body says enough, and wake up without alarms.

The road doesn’t promise freedom. It only gives you time— to face yourself, to waste less, and to understand that movement, sometimes, is the most quiet form of staying.
